Indspire is a charitable organization dedicated to raising funds to deliver programs that provide the tools necessary for Indigenous peoples, especially youth to achieve their potential. Through the Building Brighter Futures: Bursaries and Scholarship Awards programs, Indspire has provided more than $54 million to over 16,000 bursar and scholarsip awards to Canadian Indigenous students nationwide. All Canadian Indigenous individuals who are First Nation (status or non-status), Inuit or Métis and enrolled in full-time in a postsecondary institution are eligible to apply.
BUILDING BRIGHTER FUTURES: BURSARIES AND SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS PROGRAMS
The Building Brighter Futures: Bursaries and Scholarship Awards Programs are categorized into four areas of study. Types of eligible programs range from certificate level to graduate level. Students who are First Nation postsecondary students who may be sponsored by their bands are still eligible to apply.

In the event that the deadline date falls on a weekend, the deadline date will be the Friday before the due date. FAX & EMAIL COPIES ARE NOT ACCEPTED AND ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE POST MARKED ON OR BEFORE THE DEADLINE DATE.
This application deadline is for school terms between September 2014 to August 2015.
Students will be notified via email the last week of February of the Jury results.
Award Name: Foundation for the Advancement of Aboriginal Youth - Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (FAAY High school)
Eligible Fields of Study: Open to students in Grade 9 up to graduate post-secondary level.
Type(s) of Program: High school students in grades 9-12 and age range of 13-19.Applicants may apply to the FAAY Stay in School Incentive Award. Students attending post-secondary need to apply to Indspire’s Post-Secondary Education application.
